As the sexy, charismatic bassist for world-famous rock band Fallen Angel, whatever Killian Michaels wants, Killian Michaels gets.
Or at least that was the case until the band’s gorgeous new manager, Levi Walker, shot him down after a blistering first kiss.

For Levi, managing these five guys is the opportunity of a lifetime, and he’s not about to let a case of sexual desire get in his way. He’s efficient, professional, and plays by the book. But tension simmers beneath Levi’s cool exterior every time Killian’s near, and soon enough the passion boils over, consuming them both.

As the Corruption tour takes them from country to country, a heated game of cat and mouse ensues. Levi tries to deny the irresistible pull of Killian’s seductive nature, but with an attraction as strong as theirs, it’s only a matter of time before the lust-filled hate turns to love.

Got this from the KU Library.

It's Killian's turn! And about time, too. In the end of Angel, book 3 in this series, we saw that Killian's eye had been caught by the new band manager Levi, and this is their story.

Levi has rules about not getting romantically involved with his clients after a bad experience in the past but he's finding it very hard to resist Killian's allure and Killian hasn't been tempted by anyone since Levi entered the frame.

I actually enjoyed being inside Killian's head for a change. He's always been the level headed one in the band, the one to keep the guys on track and in line so for him to be off his game, it was unusual, and I enjoyed seeing him trying to get Levi to take his interest seriously. I loved seeing him fall in love.

I did read book 3.5 - Slade, Jagger and Imogen's book - before this and it helps a lot to figure out some of the crap that goes down in this one towards the end.

I don't know why but I actually loved reading about Levi's crazy fashion sense. An electric purple suit with a bright yellow shirt? Turquoise trousers and a white shirt? He's so colourful! I love it.

Fallen Angel is a band that you feel you get to know personally, like they're your new best friends, and I won't be forgetting about them for a very long time - and may even revisit at some point in the future.
